Three poems appearing in Issue 7 of The High Window

MARSIt’s a great honour to have three of my poems – “The Martian view of Earth”, “Cross-country champion” and “Stars” – appearing alongside a host of others in the Autumn 2017 issue of The High Window, which has just been published.

My thanks go out to editors David Cooke and Anthony Costello for choosing to include my poems.

  1. Congrats, Robert. I especially love “Stars.” The widow tending the grave on Christmas, the “…plastic bouquets of / incongruous pinks and yellows, grinning awkwardly / through the frost, like hopeful boys at the school dance.” Perfect!
